[News] Point Handicap Tournament Saturday

For anyone interested in a fun tournament where everyone has an equal chance to win, Northern Kentucky will hold a "Point Handicap" Tournament Saturday from Noon to 4 PM.  Below are details:

Point-Handicap Tournament

January 20, Noon-4 PM

Non-Sanctioned

 

-          $2 to enter - Winner receives all prize money (total of all entries)

-          Single Elimination (lose and you're out!  win and you keep playing)

-          Maximum of 32 players

-          A single 41-point game will be played with the winner advancing

-          The lower rated player will receive points based on the difference in the two players' ratings.  For example, if a 1200 rated player plays an 1800 player, he/she will receive 22 points to start the game. (Exact points tbd)

-          To enter, be at the facility at 11:30 AM with your entry fee on January 20.

 

 

Many tables will still be available for open play the whole day!
